About the Course

This is a THREE year course with graduates receiving NVTI, (National Vocational Training Institute), Foundation or Proficiency I and II certificates. Students learn the basics of design and color theory, batik, tie-dyeing, and screen printing on fibre. Various methods of patterning, printing, textile applications and embroidery will be included in the program. Students will develop their own portfolio for ongoing reference

Bead making

  • Necklace
  • Ear rings
  • Covers – chair, table, etc.

  • Work for a company, industrial plant, textile company,
  • Set up their own textile design or printing company
  • Further education to Polytechnic or university
